Ariel Martinez, PhD, FACMG

As a Lab Director of Clinical Genomics, Ariel is primarily responsible for the review and sign-out of clinical genomic reports. Prior to joining Variantyx, Ariel held positions as Genomic Variant Scientist at Quest Diagnostics, and Biologist and CLIA Lab General Supervisor at the National Institutes of Health. Ariel holds a Master’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Havana (Cuba) and a PhD in Genetics from the George Washington University, with fellowship training in Clinical Molecular Genetics at the National Institutes of Health. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics and a Fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics.
