When and how to get your results

When a test is ordered, we know that getting results back quickly is a priority for everyone involved. Our turnaround times and options for obtaining your test results are outlined below.

Turn Around Times

Our turn around times, how long it typically takes us to send results after we receive the test order and all samples, depend on the type of test ordered and may vary due to many factors.

Our current estimated turnaround times are as follows:

• Genomic Unity® comprehensive tests: 10-12 weeks.
• Genomic Unity® targeted tests: 4 weeks.
• Genomic Unity® Lightning Genome Analysis – Neonatal: 5-7 days.
• Genomic Unity® Lightning Genome Analysis – Pediatric: 5-7 days.
• Genomic Unity® Lightning Genome Analysis – General: 7-10 days.
• IriSight® Comprehensive Analysis – Prenatal: 11 days. 
• IriSight® CNV Analysis: 8 days.
• OncoAlly® Solid Tumor Analysis: 14 days.
• OncoAlly® Hereditary Cancer Analyses: 2-4 weeks.

Obtaining Results

Variantyx strongly recommends reviewing all results with the ordering healthcare provider before reviewing them individually. There are two ways to get a copy of testing results:

1. Your provider can give you a copy of your or your child’s results.
2. You can request a copy of the report from our Clinical Coordination team via our Contact Us page or by calling us at 617-209-2090.
