Oncology Product Marketing Manager

Are you passionate about developing products that make a real difference in people’s lives? Does the idea of helping patients and their families arrive at a diagnosis sooner excite you? We’re looking for a Product Manager with knowledge of the oncology testing market to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be an internal subject matter expert, working with a cross-functional team to execute the roadmap for expansion of our Genomic Unity® Oncology line of tests and to bring those tests to market.  You will also use your product marketing expertise to promote and drive awareness and adoption of the tests within the portfolio.


You will be leading product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Monitor, evaluate, and analyze marketing activities of key competitors to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices and to understand the competitive landscape.
  • Perform product research, market research and competitive analysis to understand testing needs and opportunities.
  • Craft compelling content for marketing materials, including print and digital collateral, sales enablement materials, and presentations. Drive positioning/messaging in key channels (email, social media, newsletter, and blog). 
  • Create training and educate the sales team on test offerings.
  • Collaborate with clinical, development & genetic counseling teams to produce Case Studies and White Papers.
  • Work with clinical and reimbursement experts to define individual test requirements to ensure that both clinical utility and reimbursement standards are met.
  • Develop timelines, coordinate releases, and ensure Go To Customer plans are in place to communicate value to internal and external audiences.
  • Support nationwide Sales Team.
  • Collaborate with Sales and customers to serve as the direct line of communication with end users of your products to maintain a constantly evolving backlog of future enhancements. 
  • Perform product maintenance and updates to test requisition forms, report language, physician and patient consent forms. 


  • Life science degree required. An advanced degree in genetics / molecular biology (MS, PhD) would be an advantage.
  • 3+ years product or marketing management experience in a clinical or life sciences setting with at least one year in somatic oncology marketing.
