Facilities / Materials Handler, Clinical Lab

Variantyx is seeking to hire a highly motivated Laboratory Facility Support Team Member to conduct essential laboratory duties that support our testing personnel. Supply chain, inventory management, safety/EHS compliance, instrument and facility maintenance. Full Time/Part time on site, Framingham, MA. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Support lab and site safety in compliance. 
• Manage inventory, storage, handling, disposal of materials, reagents. 
• Manage purchasing of reagents, materials, equipment. 
• Organize and assist with instrument acquisition, installation, qualification
• Maintain safety training and permits. 
• Ensure proper supply of reagents. 
• Manage maintenance of lab equipment, periodic calibrations. 
• Monitoring temperatures, humidity and other metrics. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, laboratory technology or related field 
• Functional understanding of relevant laboratory safety standards and regulations
• Start-up attitude, willingness to learn and take on new tasks that support the team
